In the final stage of the marketing we had received a number of pre-auction offers, we were tempted to accept one late offer before the auction, and however, John laid out his reasons for going ahead with the auction, and had at his fingertips the profiles of each of the expected bidders. On the day, we achieved a result substantially above the best pre-auction offer, and well over the reserve.
